Operating from offices throughout France, Switzerland and the UK, our client employ over 1,000 people, have income of around €100M and place nearly €2BN of premiums on behalf of clients.

The Team
This role will be based in their Surrey team, travelling between Redhill and Egham offices. The volume of business is rising rapidly and career opportunities within the wider company group are excellent should individuals demonstrate the required skills and success in their role.
The Role
The role will consist of managing a portfolio of clients and new business development will be a key contributor toward the companies ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
General responsibilities
- Client Relationship management – overall responsibility for client and service / broking team coordination
- Strategic and directional planning for management of client liaising with Account Chairman as applicable
- Facilitating and overseeing introductions along with ongoing management to other areas of the business (e.g. Claims, Risk Management, Credit, EB, Private Clients)
- Client visits
- Ensuring delivery of Client Service Plan
- Ensuring appropriate resources are in place to deliver agreed services
- Agreeing appropriate remuneration with client
- Client entertainment participation and oversight
- Credit control
- Ensuring clients are fully aware of policy coverage / conditions / limitations
New business
- Creating client record on Acturis
- Establishment of client demands, needs, cover requirements and programme design
- Fact Find completion and organisation of additional underwriting information (e.g. claims experience, surveys, questionnaires etc.)
- Liaising with Broker on broking strategy to be employed and contributing as necessary
- Signing off Broking presentations
Renewal business
- Establishment any changes to client demands, needs, cover requirements and programme design
- Fact Find and underwriting information updates (Informally every year. Formally whenever re-broking takes place or every 3 years)
- Renewal strategy
- Liaison with Broker / AH on any re-broking strategy to be employed and contributing as necessary
- Signing off Broking presentations
Person Specification
- Minimum of 10 years in the insurance industry preferably with Corporate Client Service experience
- Extensive working knowledge of General Commercial Lines business and the Broking market
- The ability to discuss strategic and operational risk at C-Suite level
- Demonstrable drive, self-motivation and determination to achieve results
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills combined with a proven track record of relationship management and customer focus
- Strong influencing, negotiation and leadership skills

- Minimum Dip CII
- Target book size of £450,000
- Acturis experience is preferred

Salary
£70,000 to £85,000
