Senior Business Development Executive

Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (Part-time considered)

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Develop and execute a strategy to identify and convert new business leads.
  • Research and implement effective communication methods (email, phone, social media, events).
  • Monitor, track, and report on the sales pipeline, making data-driven improvements.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and business meetings.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide coaching and expertise to Business Development Executives to enhance performance.
  • Support marketing initiatives and contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Customer Engagement & Compliance

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of trust, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.

Ad-Hoc Projects & Strategic Support

  • Contribute to business strategy through various projects to enhance customer experience.

What They’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a target-driven business development or sales role.
  • Strong business planning and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and networking abilities.
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the insurance industry or working with commercial business directors.
  • Previous experience managing a sales pipeline and using MSD (CRM) systems.
