Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Identify, target, and convert new business leads into long-term customer relationships.
  • Generate cross-selling opportunities for existing clients, including financial services products.
  • Research and implement effective communication methods (email, phone, social media, events).
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and business meetings.
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients, guiding them from initial interest to quote.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, exceeding expectations at every stage.
  • Act as a trusted representative, demonstrating integrity and professionalism.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Ad-Hoc Projects & Strategic Support

  • Support business strategy through various projects to enhance customer experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a target-driven business development or sales role.
  • Strong business planning and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including networking.
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively under pressure.
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the insurance industry or working with commercial business directors.
  • Previous experience managing a sales pipeline and using MSD (CRM) systems.
