The BDM will play a key role in driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and cross-selling opportunities within our ancillary product range.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Proactively generate new business leads across all product lines, including developing and managing target lists.
- Identify and capitalise on cross-sale opportunities within Legal Expenses
- Work closely with the Commercial team to expand existing relationships.
- Engage with appointed consultants to uncover potential opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and execution of income growth strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of prospects and pipeline opportunities.
- Manage new business opportunities effectively, including:
- Attending client-facing meetings and presentations (both remote and in-person).
- Developing initial proposals for underwriting review.
- Preparing and submitting tailored proposals and client presentations.
- Coordinating with the Partnership Manager to ensure smooth implementation.
General Responsibilities
- Adhere to service standards and FCA regulations.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Complete mandatory training and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as required.
- Participate in performance reviews and development processes.
- Notify management/HR of any issues that may impact job performance.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives.
