Business Development Executive
Overview
We’re looking for a driven Business Development Executive to identify and convert new commercial insurance opportunities. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, generating leads, and supporting the growth of the commercial book.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target and convert new business leads
Build relationships with prospective clients and progress opportunities to quote stage
Cross-sell relevant products to new and existing clients
Represent the business at networking events and industry functions
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain accurate client records
Work collaboratively with internal teams to support sales conversion
About You
Proven experience in business development or targeted sales
Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
Organised, self-motivated and able to manage a sales pipeline
Commercially minded with good attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and spending time out of the office
Additional Information
Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00
Office base available in Ashford, Tenterden or Whitfield (home-based considered)
Full training provided
Full UK driving licence required
