Our client is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Travel Claims Administrator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Handle incoming enquiries, providing accurate information or directing to the appropriate Claims Handler
- Set up new claims on internal systems using information received from customers
- Upload and manage documentation to ensure claims are processed efficiently
- Verify policy cover and ensure all information aligns with policy terms and conditions
- Provide administrative support, including liaising with third parties to gather required information
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communications and claim activity
- Support the resolution of customer queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all interactions meet service standards and are handled courteously
- Escalate potential fraud, complex cases, or high-risk situations to management
- Identify system or process improvements and highlight these to the relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong communication skills with a professional and clear approach
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook)
Desirable Skills:
- Additional language skills such as French and/or Spanish
- Previous experience in a telephone-based role
- Familiarity with general office and administrative procedures
