We are excited to be working with a large independent brokerage who through continued success, have a new position in the business for someone to join them as an Account Executive on a hybrid basis in their Reading office.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assists in all aspects of servicing renewal business
• Strong focus on commercial risks and understand the technical aspect of managing and placing these risks both individual and portfolio
• Travel occasionally as needed, to meet with clients, and provide assistance in the production of new accounts
• Produce revenue through cross-sales to new and existing clients
• Effectively coordinates with multiple Introducers and team members to accomplish production, retention, and customer service goals
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with underwriters and representatives to effectively market new and renewal business
• Works closely with the Director to ensure service, review, and sign off of policies, endorsements, audits, certificates, etc. are performed in a timely and accurate manner
Business/Professional Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 or more years professional experience in Commercial Account management
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
• Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of professional and industry standards and practices
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Strong aptitude for interpretation of coverage forms, contractual agreements, and financial statements
• Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a client team
• Customer service focused
