We are excited to be working with a large brokerage who through continued success, have created a brand new role in the business for an individual to join them as a Broker Support Consultant with the freedom to work remotely.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual from a broking or insurer background to step into a network relationship role. You would be the first point of contact for all new & existing businesses who require assistance with a varied range of requests from onboarding, training, & Insurer support.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Duties will include ensuring that the different broker businesses have their queries & requests for help answered quickly & professionally, with a full focus on customer service & satisfaction
- Full ownership of brokers within territorial area with a “can do” approach to support day to day queries wherever these arise, by either resolving personally or escalating internally
- Responsibility for retaining a Panel of Brokers & ensuring any internal systems are updated accordingly with relevant activity
- Arranging regular meetings with your allocated brokers, whether virtually, telephone or face to face if travel warranted
- Supporting the broker & being the ‘go-to’ for a whole host of queries
- Involvement in the onboarding process as directed by Broker Development Manager for new members within your given territory
- Working closely with other teams within the business to build your relationships internally so you can deliver excellence to your brokers
- Keep updated with the latest information regarding compliance, aged debts, or other needs for your brokers so that you can support any development/training needs
- Occasional insurer engagement to be able to promote insurers to your brokers & assist with placement needs or support for any bespoke scheme requirements
- Actively being open to attracting potential new prospects & referring them internally

Qualifications & Experience:
- Completion of or working to Cert CII
- Computer literate
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in broking/insurer environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of Acturis, broking & Insurer processes
- Personal & Commercial Lines experience/knowledge
Office Location – Remote with some travel occasionally required to Head Office and Broker Locations
