About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join a Travel Insurance team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and professional environment, handling a portfolio of travel insurance claims efficiently.
You will be responsible for managing a minimum of 15 claims per day, ensuring each case is processed accurately, fairly, and in line with company procedures and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, investigate, and settle a variety of travel insurance claims.
Handle approximately 15 claims per day, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Communicate with policyholders, third parties, and service providers to gather relevant information.
Provide excellent customer service while managing expectations with empathy and professionalism.
Ensure claims are processed in line with company policies, FCA regulations, and compliance requirements.
Maintain accurate records and case notes throughout the claims lifecycle.
Contribute to team targets and service level agreements.
Requirements
Previous experience in travel insurance claims handling is essential.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple claims at once.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in IT systems and case management software.
