We are working on some exciting new opportunities with a global insurer who are looking for a Development Manager to join their Commercial team.
Our client is keen to speak with motivated individuals that have a strong background in B2B sales in the insurance industry.
Your role would involve promoting the businesses products and services and contributing to the departments New Business strategy by developing new relationships with brokers and increasing income.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting meetings with potential clients
- Development and execution of strategic plans to identify and win new business
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Working with internal departments including Underwriting, Marketing, Finance Operations and Business Control functions
Experience/skills required:
- Strong customer/client communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated and able to multi task
- Proven track record in sales
- Experience working within insurance in a B2B sales/BDM type of role
