Job Title: Head of UK Claims
Location: London (Hybrid – minimum 2 days in office)
Our Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to head up a UK-based specialist claims management business. This role is focused on overseeing teams, driving business growth, developing client relationships, and winning new work within the Lloyd’s and wider insurance market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage claims teams across static, legacy, and TPA arrangements
- Set and deliver business strategy and growth plans
- Own and manage the UK Claims P&L
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify and win new business opportunities
- Oversee performance, ensuring delivery against SLAs and KPIs
- Contribute to international business growth strategy
Required Experience & Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of the Lloyd’s & London insurance markets
- Proven success in winning and delivering profitable new business
- Deep experience in multi-line claims handling and strategy
- Strong relationships with key stakeholders (carriers, brokers, adjusters, lawyers)
- Skilled team leader, able to inspire and manage high-performing staff
- Financially literate and commercially driven
- Excellent communication and client management skills
