The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Healthcare and Risk Management company who have a fantastic position for a Registered Nurse to join their clinical team as a Medical Case Manager, working in their Surrey office on a hybrid basis.

The Role

This is a diverse role where you provide remote advice and support to customers that require medical assistance whilst overseas on a holiday or business trip. Your day-to-day activities can include but are not limited to:

• Confirming requirements and arranging travel vaccinations
• Providing medical advice on new or ongoing treatments
• Arranging medical referrals and reviews
• Case management
• Agreeing care plans for pre-existing conditions
• Organisation of repatriation or evacuation including patient care and travel/accommodations for dependants
• Reviewing medical reports
• Assessing each case applying your expert clinical knowledge

The Requirements

• Current NMC Pin
• 3 + years recent clinical experience as a nurse
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic IT skills
• Would be advantageous if you have any experience working within an overseas, government, travel insurance, assistance, military or repatriation environment
