Sales Development Executive

We are working with a global broking business who are expanding significantly within the UK and are now in looking for a Sales Development Executive to support this growth and join their office in East Sussex on a hybrid basis.

 

Job Role:

  • Drive activity and be focused on delivering the commercial budget number in your location
  • Personally write New Business income per month and demonstrate a constant focus on proactive actions which will enable you to quote business
  • Use all the tools available to promote yourself/the business and ensure regular investment in these activities i.e. LinkedIn, Zywave, Artesian, 90 Day Pipeline, Tele-sales, Acturis opportunities
  • Ensure all additional, relevant, covers are fully discussed and offered to all clients
  • Ask every customer for a referral and explore other covers the client themselves do not purchase through the broker
  • Ensure all clients receive a full review of their needs at each renewal and ensure you give clear advice and guidance on how the client can protect themselves and their businesses
  • Guard against covers not being sufficient and ensure you take care when reviewing a client’s file in order to spot any gaps in cover i.e. Underinsurance, D&O, Cyber

  • Principles, practices and legalities of the major classes in General Insurance
  • UK General Insurance market
  • Underwriting and rating factors

Salary: Up to £40k

Office Location: East Sussex, parking on site – Hybrid

Hours:  Monday to Friday, 9 – 5pm
