A global leader in health and well-being services is seeking a dynamic Sales Director to unify and lead a recently merged sales team in Germany. This role is central to driving strategic growth across the EMEA market by integrating two high-performing business development teams following a recent acquisition.
Focused on delivering integrated physical, mental, and financial wellness solutions, the organization supports consumers, healthcare professionals, and employers to improve health outcomes worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Integration
- Lead and align a diverse team of Business Development professionals.
- Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
- Develop and implement performance management and coaching strategies.
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Define clear team revenue targets and execution plans.
- Establish scalable processes for lead generation, pipeline development, and opportunity sourcing.
- Build strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and consultants to fuel long-term growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Customer Success teams to drive upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with regional leaders to shape and execute market expansion strategies.
- Act as an executive sponsor for critical accounts and major partnerships.
- Performance & Reporting
- Monitor and report on business development metrics.
- Regularly present insights and performance updates to executive leadership.
- Promote adoption of best practices, tools, and training across the team.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5–7 years of experience leading EMEA-focused sales teams
- Strong background in sales performance metrics and analytics
- Demonstrated success in post-merger team integration and multicultural team leadership
- Proven operational leadership and client partnership development experience
- Background in health, mental health, wellness, or employee support services (preferred)
- Advanced skills in communication, data analysis, and presentation
- Fluent in both German and English
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience
