Senior Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst – Insurance Claims Systems – Remote (with occasional travel to Redhill or Cardiff) 

The Senior Business Analyst reviews, analyses, and improves business processes and systems to support organisational strategy and objectives. The role involves leading requirements activities, collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams, and ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs in an Agile environment. The Senior Business Analyst may also mentor junior analysts and contribute to business analysis standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage requirements activities for assigned projects
  • Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business and system requirements
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners
  • Support system integration, process optimisation, and technology implementation
  • Evaluate solution feasibility and support testing, demos, and training activities
  • Maintain and improve business analysis standards, documentation, and best practices
  • Coach and review work of junior business analysts
  • Track and report on progress, risks, and changes
  • Support issue triage, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management
  • Experience working in Agile and other SDLC methodologies
  • Solid understanding of systems, databases, and application design principles
  • Experience analysing and improving business processes and workflows
  • Ability to independently manage small initiatives and support complex projects
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
