Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute a strategy to identify and convert new business leads.
- Research and implement effective communication methods (email, phone, social media, events).
- Monitor, track, and report on the sales pipeline, making data-driven improvements.
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and business meetings.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide coaching and expertise to Business Development Executives to enhance performance.
- Support marketing initiatives and contribute to the overall business strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Customer Engagement & Compliance
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of trust, integrity, and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
Ad-Hoc Projects & Strategic Support
- Contribute to business strategy through various projects to enhance customer experience.
What They’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a target-driven business development or sales role.
- Strong business planning and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and networking abilities.
- Highly organised with great attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport.
Desirable:
- Experience in the insurance industry or working with commercial business directors.
- Previous experience managing a sales pipeline and using MSD (CRM) systems.
