Job Title: Senior Claims Adjuster – Energy
Location: London (Hybrid)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Claims Adjuster with expertise in Energy and multi-class claims to join a growing delegated claims team working with leading London Market carriers. This is a hybrid role based in London and ideal for someone who understands Lloyd’s market processes and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and adjust claims from notification to settlement within authority limits

• Manage both standard and complex claims, particularly in the Energy sector

• Ensure delivery of a high-quality claims service aligned with client SLAs and KPIs

• Act as a point of technical support and escalation within the team

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders

• Monitor and report on claims performance, trends, and issues

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team knowledge sharing

• Review and peer-check claims to ensure consistency and quality standards

• Appoint external experts or legal counsel when appropriate

• Provide tailored client reporting and attend client meetings when required

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience adjusting claims in the Lloyd’s and London Market

• Strong technical knowledge across multiple classes of business, especially Energy

• Confident handling both standard and complex claims in accordance with Lloyd’s Claims Scheme

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Capable of working to tight SLAs and handling a high volume of transactions

• Organised, adaptable, and able to manage a varied caseload independently

• Strong team player with experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues
