Travel Claims Administrator

Our client is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Travel Claims Administrator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and other communication channels
  • Handle incoming enquiries, providing accurate information or directing to the appropriate Claims Handler
  • Set up new claims on internal systems using information received from customers
  • Upload and manage documentation to ensure claims are processed efficiently
  • Verify policy cover and ensure all information aligns with policy terms and conditions
  • Provide administrative support, including liaising with third parties to gather required information
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communications and claim activity
  • Support the resolution of customer queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure all interactions meet service standards and are handled courteously
  • Escalate potential fraud, complex cases, or high-risk situations to management
  • Identify system or process improvements and highlight these to the relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and clear approach
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook)

Desirable Skills:

  • Additional language skills such as French and/or Spanish
  • Previous experience in a telephone-based role
  • Familiarity with general office and administrative procedures
