Dan is the Managing Director of FJN Solutions. He has recruited for the insurance industry since 2002 and has set up two businesses in that time.
He has managed recruitment campaigns for numerous insurers, brokers, banks and MGAs during his time in the industry and still thoroughly enjoys what he does for a living. Whilst holding the title of Managing Director, Dan is still very much a hands on consultant and enjoys nothing more than working closely with clients and candidates alike. Prior to working in the recruitment industry, Dan worked in the insurance market in sales, account management and training positions.
When he is not at work, Dan is a family man and enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife and kids. He loves football, skiing, golf, music and is a very long suffering Newcastle United fan.
Stuart has recruited for the insurance since August 2016. Prior to joining us, Stuart had a stint recruiting for the Aviation market before choosing to recruit for the market that he knows and understands well through working for Gallagher Heath for nearly 10 years as a Senior Insurance Technician. Stuart’s time working for one of the world’s leading brokers has served him well, and his understanding of the broker market helps him work in a consultative manner for our clients. His knowledge of the market enables him to ask the right questions at the right times, and this has resulted in an extremely high success rate when it comes to identifying the right candidates for the right roles. Stuart’s personable approach to recruitment makes him a perfect fit for all of our clients in the insurance market.
Outside of work whilst not entertaining his beautiful baby girl Myah, Stuart can be found in the gym or playing football!
Amelia began her career in the insurance industry in 2013 with Markerstudy Insurance. She worked within claims and broker support in her time with Markerstudy and therefore has a great working knowledge of the insurance market. Amelia then went on to work with Sutton Winson and Strategic Insurance Services in Account Management roles where she really honed and developed her client management skill set.
Amelia joined FJN Solutions in November 2022 as a Recruitment Consultant specialising in hiring people for the General Insurance market. Her knowledge of claims, operations and account management sets her aside from other recruiters in the market as she truly understands the market that she recruits for.
Outside of work, Amelia is a dab hand in the kitchen, a social butterfly of the highest order and loves spending time looking after her nieces and nephews. Fun things about Amelia she has climbed the o2, once won a medal for being the only player to score 0 points in a game of darts and lived in France for 18 months.
Kai has over 8 years Recruitment experience and has recruited professionals in the Tech industry since 2017. Helping to build Product, Design and Engineering teams for companies across the UK, Europe and North America.
Kai has led recruitment processes for globally recognised brands, SME’s and Startups covering SaaS, MedTech, TravelTech and InsurTech industries. He joined FJN in March 2024 to bring his technical background to the insurance market, as InsurTech is predicted to be the fastest growing tech vertical over the next 10 years.
Outside of work, Kai loves spending most of his time with his Fiancé & Son. He can also be found supporting his beloved Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club, playing golf or jogging around the streets of Horsham.
Amy started working in the recruitment industry in early 2022. She has focussed on recruiting for a variety of industries including, Life sciences, Commercial, Senior and Executive, Industrial and Marketing.
One of her strengths lies in her ability to invest time in learning the aspirations of job seekers. Amy is a people person, and enjoys building strong and lasting relationships with both candidates and clients. Listening to and acknowledging people’s needs enables her to deliver a tailored and efficient recruitment experience.
Amy joined the team at FJN Solutions team in April 2024. She will be working with the team to expand and hone her recruitment skills within the insurance industry.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family & friends. You may find her in a gym some mornings, but mostly, her favourite thing to do is eat nice food, go on long pretty walks, & go dancing with friends!
