On Saturday afternoon, we were fortunate enough to sponsor a real classic at the CWCS in Horsham in front of the biggest crowd of the day in the Isthmian League.
Despite having home advantage, Horsham went into the game as underdogs due to Potters Bar’s recent run of form taking them to the top of the table. The boys in green and yellow tore up the form guide and ran out 3-2 winners with strikes from Tom Richards, man of the match Lucas Rodrigues and top corner pen from Tom Kavanagh.
A great afternoon was had by all! Particularly the lads from Horsham Herons FC who presented the man of the match champagne to Lucas Rodrigues after the final whistle.
