Bank Holiday Monday saw eight ‘elite’ teams lock horns to contest the annual Roffey Cricket Club 6 a side tournament. Always a good laugh!
The teams, pictured below, were made up of varying ages & abilities and all played at least 4 games. The younsters shone throughout the day and the oldies produced the odd moments of magic here and there!
A massive well done to the Cup champions ‘Suited n Booted’ who are all teenage lads making their way in the game. The future is bright!
A special mention to the Plate winners who included club sponsors past and present Jason Hayes, Sean Costello, Jason Grubb and Dan Small. The old boys were ably assisted by current overseas superstar, and Roffey legend in the making, Andrew ‘Rambo’ Rambaran. Special shout to the legend that is Matt Davies and also Fin Small for playing their part too.
